There is something deeply peaceful and satisfying about watching fish glide lazily around a garden pond. When a fish is happy with its world, it shows and it doesn’t take much to keep a pond fish happy; enough space, good water quality and the right food. Health
All Nishikoi foods provide pond fish with a perfectly balanced and complete diet to help them to live a long and healthy life. Nishikoi also contains stabilised Vitamin C which guarantees fish receive enough of this essential vitamin which helps boost their immune systems and keep fish healthy.
Growth
Whilst protein is the key to growth, if the quality of the protein is poor or the protein to energy ratio is wrong then the protein could be used as an energy source and not provide optimal growth.

Colour
Nishikoi brings out the natural colours in pond fish – beautifully. Their colours are deepened and intensified by the special colour enhancers such as spirulina and astaxanthin, producing a radiant, almost iridescent sheen to their skin.
Pond Tip – Goldfish, shubunkins, comets and koi are regarded as pigs of the pond. They use their acute sense of smell to root around in the pond. We should feed our pond fish on a ‘little and often’ basis to match their foraging behaviour.
